How long do fingerprint results take?2018-09-20T03:27:45+00:00

State results take 5 days. Federal results take 3-4 months. However, we will issue you a temporary stamp that permits you to start employment or obtain your license immediately. Your employer or licensing agency will let you know if there is a background problem when the federal results finally do come in.

Do I need to fingerprint again if I just did fingerprints?2018-09-20T03:25:54+00:00

Yes. Regardless of how many times you have been fingerprinted in the past, Nevada law requires that you complete a new set of fingerprints with every new license or employer. For example, if you do fingerprints on July 1 for a real estate license and on July 5 you get hired at a casino, you would have to do fingerprints again for the casino job. Law enforcement, military, and previous security clearance makes no difference. There are no exceptions.

We are closed on all federal holidays including: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas day, day after Christmas, Thanksgiving, Labor Day.

Absolutely! We understand how important it is to make sure your personal data (name, address, SS#) and fingerprint images are kept safe. We only transmit your fingerprints over a secure/encrypted connection to the FBI. The hard drives on our computers are encrypted with PGP (this is impossible to hack). Our employees have all been screened. Rest assured your personal data is safe.

Yes! We will scan your fingers on our digital scanner and the digital images of your fingerprints will be printed on standard fingerprint hard cards.

What is “LiveScan” Fingerprinting2018-09-20T03:09:46+00:00

LiveScan is an inkless fingerprinting technique where your fingers are scanned digitally rather than be painted with ink and rolled on paper.

In order for us to fingerprint you, we need the following:

  1. Photo ID (must be gov’t issued, non-expired).
  2. Any paperwork you have from the entity requiring your fingerprints.
  3. The following code numbers (ORI, MNU Account, Reason Code) from the entity requiring your fingerprints, if you are applying for a license.
