FEE NOTICE STARTING 7/1/2019 – The FBI background check fee of $40 must now be paid at the fingerprint office, not online when registering with GCB. In addition, Nevada DPS has raised the state level background fee. The total amount payable at the fingerprint office is $65 starting 7/1/2019. These fees are in addition to the $45 fee paid to register online with GCB.

No Cards Issued
Keep in mind that the GCB no longer issues actual physical cards. They merely keep your name in their online database that employers search.
Getting Licensed
You cannot get a gaming card voluntarily. You must wait until a company with a license hires you.
At Fingerprinting of Las Vegas uses Livescan technology for digital fingerprints needed for gaming cards required by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Steps to Getting Licensed
- Your employer will register you with the GCB.
- Go online to the Nevada GCB website and set up an account.
- Log in.
- Pay the fee.
- Watch for your email receipt. Your email receipt will contain a link to your fingerprint form.
- Click the emailed link and print out the form. If you cannot print it out don’t worry we have blank forms at the office you can use.
- Visit our NW Las Vegas or Henderson locations.
- Complete a Livescan digital fingerprint.
- We will stamp your form.
- Return your form to your employer.
The purpose of the gaming card is to verify the background of the job applicant.
